1. Contract

By submitting this registration form, you agree to pay the registration fee. You will be receiving a confirmation of registration following payment via email as a guarantee.

2. Cancellation Policy: Attendee

All cancellations must be submitted in writing and be received by the organizer’s office, at least 7 days prior to the conference start date. Cancellations are subject to an administrative fee:

  • Non-Members: CHF 200.00
  • Members: CHF 150.00

If cancellation occurs less than 7 days prior to the conference start date, the cancellation fee is 100% of the registration fee. The organizer reserves the right to modify/alter the venue, dates and format of the conference if necessary. If the conference is postponed or cancelled, the organizer will fully refund the registration fee, but will not refund airfare, hotel or other costs that have incurred upon registration. Registered attendees are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.

In case of No Show, no refund will be made.

3. Cancellation Policy: Exhibitor

  • Any exhibitor requesting to cancel his/her table(s) 8 weeks or more before the conference date may do so with full refund.
  • Any exhibitor requesting to cancel his/her table(s) 3-8 weeks before the conference date, may do so with half of their payment refunded OR the exhibitor may request to display information on his/her reserved table in lieu of receiving ½ of the payment. The organizer will set up the display but will not take the responsibility to return any leftovers such as flyers, devices, etc., to the exhibitor.
  • Any exhibitor requesting to cancel his/her table(s) 20 days before the conference date will not receive a refund. However, the exhibitor may request to display information on his/her reserved table or let go of the table. The organizer will set up the display but will not take the responsibility to return any leftovers such as flyers, devices, etc., to the exhibitor.
  • If the conference is postponed or cancelled, the organizer will fully refund the registration fee for exhibitors but will not refund airfare, hotel or other costs that have incurred upon exhibitor registration.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.

4. Transfer Policy

You are entitled to transfer your registration to a colleague prior to the start of the conference. However, sharing a conference ticket (i.e., paying one fee and sharing the daily attendance with another colleague) is not permitted. Please notify the organizer’s office of any transfers as soon as possible.

5. Photography Policy

By attending this conference, you give permission for pictures, images, etc., of you, taken during the conference through video, photo, and/or digital devices, to be used by the organizer in promotional materials, publications and the MPP website. Moreover, you refuse any and all rights including, but not limited to, compensation or ownership.

Recording of any part of the conference, e.g., by camera or mobile phone, is not permitted. Any unauthorized duplication, publication or distribution shall be prohibited.

6. COVID-19

By attending this conference, you agree to follow rules in relation to COVID-19 defined by the organizer on the basis of Swiss federal and cantonal laws. Such rules can include, but not limited to, the obligation to wear a surgical mask or filtering face piece in and around the conference premises and the obligation to present a valid COVID-19 certificate as defined by the Swiss Department of Public Health (FOPH) as a pre-condition to access the conference premises.

In case attendees, exhibitors or their representatives were unable to attend the conference due to, but not limited to, restrictions imposed by public authorities in relation to COVID-19, cancellation policies as described in section 2 and 3 apply. Costs incurred by attendees, exhibitors, or their representatives due to COVID-19 restrictions and/or public health rules imposed by public authorities in or outside of Switzerland may not be claimed to the organizer.

The organizer reserves the right to modify/alter the format or the conference if necessary. If the conference format was to be changed, e.g. to a virtual event:

  • The organizer will provide a virtual booth and virtual promotion to exhibitors. The organizer will not refund airfare, hotel or other costs that have incurred upon registration of exhibitors. Registered exhibitors are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.If the conference format was to be changed, attendees would be granted full access to the content of the conference and would therefore not be eligible for a refund. Attendees are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.

By attending this conference, you for yourself as well as for any third party claiming by or through you, release, waive, defend, indemnify and hold harmless the organizer and its directors, office, employees, agents, representatives and suppliers from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, costs or expenses relating to, in connection with or arising as a result of your attendance at the conference.
